~I heart faces Photo Challenge~

Ok, so I'm a HORRIBLE blogger!!!!  I hope to get better this year.  I am participating int the I heart faces monthly photo challenge, which requires me to blog!!  My sweet photographer friend Dana is going to poke me if I don't participate!  (I won't say where, but it will HURT.)  So, here goes...My entry for this month's challenge

Wow!  We did it!!  Reached 400 fans!  I will be giving away a free (yep, that's right FREE) 1 HOUR session to one lucky winner!! I will also draw a winner for a free Organic Bloom frame (up to 8x10)  of their choice with their booked session!   Here are the rules of the game:

Owasso Senior Photographer

Last week I had a senior photo shoot with my daughter's teacher's daughter.  Wow, that's a mouth full!! Have I mentioned how much I LOOOOOOOOVE seniors?  They are so fun, and most love having their photo taken.  Lauren told me she HATED having her picture taken.  UH OH! She said she thought she always had a weird look on her face, or just hated them.  Well, I think she ROCKED this session!

D Family

I have been friends and neighbors with Mrs. C for about 8 years now. She is one of the sweetest ladies I know. Every mom wants a perfect picture of their family, you know, the "Whole Gang!". It's so hard to get EVERYONE together at the same place, same time. You know how it goes! Well, everyone WAS together for the perfect picture. Only one problem:

RAIN!!!

How can you reschedule a session when no one will be together for months? What about the kids and babies? They will be grown by the time you reschedule!! Well, after waiting all day we decided to go to the park under the canopy. Horrible for lighting on an overcast rainy day. Horrible backgrounds. But, I think we got a few good ones:

Miss "R"

Miss "R" was so fun to photograph. She is almost 13 and was such a good subject. Mom came along, and you know how 13 year old girls are with their moms! She wasn't too excited about the shoot when she first arrived, but I truly believe she had fun!

Custom Birthday Invitations Miss "A" turns 1!

My good friend and neighbor was brave enough to let me design birthday invites for her daughter's 1st birthday. I will have to say, I am pleased the way they turned out!! Mom and Dad were super excited as well! We matched them to the plates for the party. This was a first for me, and hope there are many more to come! The "M" kiddos!

I met this family through cheer with Paityn, and we have come to be pretty good friends. I had so much with these kiddos! Miss "B" is sooo full of energy, I wish I had half of it. Mr. "C" was so photogenic, and wanted to be in every picture. He was such a help in corralling his baby sister. Mrs. "P" had the best time posing for me, and was so cooperative. Here is a sneak peak for mom, I know she is dying to see some!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Collinsville Cardinals 2nd Grade cheer squad. I had a blast shooting these, despite the fact that I took pics of all 15 girls in an hour and a half!! Whew! Here is a sneak peak of the girls.
